EGM S.A. was founded in 2000. The company’s mission at that time was to verify and document Jurassic limestone deposit „Wierzbica” located at the town of Sobkow, within the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship and then to prepare the exploitation of this particular deposit. This intetion was achived until year 2006 and currently the company is extracting rock material with high-quality chemical parameters from the „Wierzbica” deposit, which is undoubtedly unique in its structure. The geological documentation confirms the fact that the average calcium carbonate (CaCO3) content exceeds 98%, which placing it among the highest-quality deposits in Poland and Europe in terms of meeting the requirements of the limestone industry”.

By using this uniqe resources We produce a wide range of diverse granulation products, primarily of limestone, for industrial purposes. From part of raw material we also obtain aggregates used in road contructions and concret production (in accordance with harmonized standards of the European Union) as well as lime for use in fertilizers.

By the end of 2013, at the location of our mine we established a modern technological complex for the processing of limestone, which extends the range of our products, including high-quality, fine-grained limestone products suitable for a diverse range of industrial and agricultural uses. Since then, this complex has been systematically expanded.
